Information about Constitution

The Epping Forest District Council Constitution came into effect in May 2001 with the advent of the Council's modernised Cabinet structure.

 

The Constitution sets out the principles, rules and protocols for the way in which the Council conducts its business. It includes the processes by which decisions are made and sets out who is responsible for what. The Constitution complies with the provisions of the Local Government Act 2000.
