Area Plans Sub-Committees - Site Visits

With effect from the meeting of Area Plans Sub-Committee South on 30 May 2018, members will have an opportunity to identify and agree requirements for formal site visits to be held with regard to any planning application listed in the agenda, prior to consideration of the application. This opportunity for members to identify and agree requirements for formal site visits to be held prior to consideration of a planning application will be operated on a trial basis from the commencement of the 2018/19 municipal year, until 30 November 2018. The success of this arrangement will be reviewed by the Constitution Working Group at the end of the trial period.

(Further information: Steve Tautz ext 4180)

3.

Area Plans South - Extra Meeting

The Area Planning Sub-Committee South meeting scheduled for 30 May would have about 20 applications on the agenda, this would obviously be too many for any one meeting.  As agreed at a previous Plans South meeting any large agenda would be split into two and an extra meeting would be held.

An extra meeting has therefore been arranged for  Monday 11 June, starting at 7.30pm in the Council Chamber to pick up these extra applications.

(Further information: Adrian Hendry ext 4246)

4.

Former Councillor Elizabeth Downes

The Council has been advised of the recent death of former Councillor Elizabeth Downes.

The funeral of former Councillor Downes will be held at 2.00pm on 29 May 2018 at All Saints Church, Nazeing and afterwards at Nazeing Golf Club.  Family flowers only, donations if desired to Marie Curie Nurses through F. J. Pinnock and Sons, Funeral Directors, Bush Fair, Harlow.
