Grant Aid Funding

We have received an application for Grant Aid funding from the groups named below.

If you have any pertinent or relevant information on this application or their

application for funding, please notify us via email at grantaid@eppingforestdc.gov.uk.

You must declare an interest if you are involved with the group in any way.

 

1.     Name of Group/Applicant: Waltham Abbey Baptist Church  

 

Nature of Application: Funding for an accessible toilet: The benefit of having an accessible toilet will enhance the activities the church can run.

 

2.     Name of Group/Applicant: Loughton Baptist Church    

 

Nature of Application: Refurbishment of toilet facilities to provide a safe and comfortable environment for users.

 

3.     Name of Group/Applicant: Hertfordshire Boat Rescue

 

Nature of Application: Funding to insure rescue vehicles and the building. The organisation provide a free service to everyone and run on donations and support from grants.

 

4.     Name of Group/Applicant: Matching Green Cricket Club

 

Nature of Application: Auto rotorake MK5 Scarifier with reels – To help prepare safe cricket pitches for juniors and adults to play on.

 

5.     Name of Group/Applicant: Revitalise Respite Holidays

 

Nature of Application: Refurbishing 2 wet rooms at Jubilee Lodge respite centre in Chigwell. Jubilee Lodge provide respite breaks for disabled people and carers.

Member Training - Safeguarding (Repeat)

Caroline Wiggins will be hosting a repeat of the Members Training session on Safeguarding on Monday 13 November at 2pm in CR1.

Meeting cancelled - Area Planning Sub-Committee West 9 October 2019

Overview & Scrutiny Committee

It is hoped that the Chief Officer of Voluntary Action Epping Forest (VAEF) will be able to attend the meeting of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee to be held on 19 November 2019.

 

If members have any specific questions that they would like to raise with VAEF at the meeting, please send written notification of such matters to democraticservices@eppingforestdc.gov.uk by 31 October 2019.  In accordance with usual practice, notice of all questions and the scope of matters to be raised by members will be provided to the Chief Officer of VAEF in advance of the meeting.

The notification of decisions taken by individual Portfolio Holders is no longer included in the Council Bulletin.

 

All members of the Council receive automatic email notification of the publication of each individual Portfolio Holder decision and the call-in period for each decision commences immediately. Members wishing to call-in a decision should complete the attached call-in form and return it to Democratic Services before the expiry of five working days following the publication date of the decision. Members should refer to the Constitution (Article 6 - Overview and Scrutiny) for the rules of call-in.
